There are two primary play styles in Tomb of the Mask: arcade and map. While playing, you'll have to feed your character a lot of money as they sprint through the labyrinth in arcade mode, avoid obstacles, and find hidden treasures. If you choose to play in a more traditional level-based fashion, each successive level will provide you with more challenging tasks in Map mode. There's a time limit on each level, and if you make it to the end of the screen, you'll get a sweet reward.

How To Play

The game's controls are simple, requiring just vertical and horizontal movement to guide your character to collect stars and dodge obstacles. Every time you run into a wall, you'll have to do a U-turn, and the level's difficulty will grow proportionally as more traps are added to the walls and more movable traps are added to the floor. Thus, quick reflexes are required to swiftly alter the course of movement in order to avoid them.
