The classic fruit-chasing formula gets much more room to experiment in Snake Game. Guide a growing snake around the board, collect fruit for points, and choose from 16 modes that change how each run plays. With customizable speed, board size, visuals, and snake colors, you can build a setup that suits your style.
The basic goal is simple: collect fruit while avoiding dangerous collisions. Every fruit adds 1 point, but each pickup also makes the snake longer, leaving less room for your next turn.
The variety comes from the game's four mode groups. Classic includes Classic, Walls, and No Borders, while Relaxed adds Peaceful, Magnet, and Shield. For more unusual challenges, the Challenge group features Poison, Statue, Twin, Light, and Minesweeper. Puzzle modes include Portal, Key, Sokoban, Arrow, and Cheese.
You can change more than the game mode before starting. Choose 1, 3, 5, or Lots of apples, set movement to Normal, Fast, or Slow, and select Small, Medium, Large, or Custom board sizes.
The snake can use one of 10 solid colors or the Rainbow style. Six visual themes—Sunset, Meadow, Night, Snow, Lava, and Ocean—also let you change the board's appearance.
High scores are saved locally in your browser and tracked separately for different combinations of modes, settings, speed, and board size. That means changing your setup can create another personal record to chase.
