Cat Run Train! is a fast-paced collection racing game where speed, timing, and strategy decide how many Brainrots you can secure. The core gameplay focuses on running through multiple zones, catching creatures, and delivering them safely to your train. Every run challenges you to balance risk and reward while managing movement and collection efficiency.
You begin each session near the train track area. Before starting, you can choose a unique cat skin and prepare for the upcoming run across different zones.
You move through open areas to collect Brainrots scattered across the environment. Each Brainrot has a rarity tier, including Common, Legendary, Mythical, and Secret. Higher rarity Brainrots provide greater value but are harder to catch and secure.
All collected Brainrots must be returned to your train. Depositing them safely increases your progress and collection value. If you fail to return in time, you risk losing your captured Brainrots.
A major gameplay mechanic is the tsunami event system. Periodically, a massive wave sweeps across the map and removes uncollected Brainrots. This forces you to make quick decisions, return to safety, and prioritize survival over exploration.
The game features multiple zones, each containing different Brainrot types. Deeper zones introduce rarer creatures and higher-value rewards, but also increase risk. Exploring further zones significantly improves your long-term collection progress.
You can unlock Brainrot index progress as you collect more species. Completing collections rewards progression bonuses and helps expand your train’s storage capacity over time.
