Bat Smash 2 turns a single cricket swing into a distance challenge where timing, launch power, and clever use of the environment determine how far the ball travels. The goal is simple: make strong contact, send the ball flying, and keep improving your best distances through upgrades.
The swing is controlled with the mouse. Before each hit, a moving needle travels across the power arc. Stopping it in the green zone produces the strongest contact and gives the ball more launch velocity. Yellow or light-green hits still provide distance, while poorly timed swings result in weaker shots.
Once the ball is airborne, you can tap to trigger a manual bounce. Using this at the right moment can help the ball skip across cars or flat surfaces and maintain momentum. The surroundings also contain billboards that can be broken when the ball flies through them.
Distance rewards provide coins that can be invested into Power, Ball Fly, and Ball Bounce. Power increases launch force, Ball Fly helps push the ball farther, while Ball Bounce supports momentum when the ball skips across the environment.
Diamonds add another progression path, helping unlock additional characters. Players can also unlock new bats and special balls through progression and challenge rewards.
The suburban setting creates extra considerations during each launch. Parked cars, trees, and two-story houses can interfere with the ball's flight, so timing a bounce can be just as important as making a strong initial swing.
